A caption on this artwork reads,"The men of troy alabama arrived in Sanford Stadium with designs on showing the Dawgs that they couldn't be pushed around by a big time opponent. They were wrong. When the shoving was all over, the guys in the silver britches lambasted the Trojans to the tune of a 66-0 pounding. It was the second most lopsided win since 1958 when the Red and Black shut out the Citadel 76-0. Led by SEC Freshman of the Week Sony Michel, who had 155 yards and 3 TD's on 10 carries including a terrific toss assist for a score by lineman Greg Pyke who literally picked Michel up and flung him into the end zone. Add a stunning 52 yard punt return for a score by fellow freshman and American Heritage High school team mate Isaiah McKenzie and the Dawgs cruised to victory in front of a delighted home crowd on a glorious Athens Saturday.
