Georgia 24 Penn-itentiary State 17 - January 2nd, 2016 A caption on this artwork reads - Back in familiar surroundings at Everbank field in Jacksonville, sensational freshman Terry Godwin paced the Dawgs offense with a catch for a TD and a beautiful 44 yard pass to Malcolm Mitchell for another score. The Dawgs took an early 24-3 lead late into the third quarter and held on as the Nittany Lions made a late comeback run that ended in a failed Hail Mary attempt in the end zone. The senior class reached the 40 win mark as new Coach Kirby Smart watched from the sidelines. |
